The Adams Presidential Center’s inaugural Adams Speaker Series event, “John Adams: Passion for the Public Good & Civic Education,” featured a compelling panel of leading historians and civic leaders who delved into the principles driving John Adams’ lifelong commitment to public service and patriotism and his enduring legacy as a Founding Father. Their insights underscored the impact of Adams' ideals in shaping and sustaining democratic values today.

Philanthropists Karen and Rob Hale and the late Congressman Bill Delahunt were honored at the second annual Adams Presidential Center Gala in May 2024. At the gala, the City of Quincy unveiled a new John Quincy Adams statue by Russian-American sculptor Sergey Eylanbekov, which will be erected in Quincy Center to celebrate the City’s 400th anniversary.
